Green Paw’s top tips on caring for and enjoying balloons responsibly;

Compost your discarded balloons. They decompose at around the same rate as an oak leaf.
Use balloons within the optimal temperature range of min 5c to 25c
Keep balloons dry and away from sunlight
Don’t let go! Balloons released can become a hazard to wildlife. Green Paw recommend the use of balloon weights.
Inflate correctly using a balloon pump and never inhale helium.
Always supervise children using balloons, don’t let children inflate balloons themselves.
Discard any broken or burst balloons.
Always seek medical care if you think you are having a reaction to latex.
